Michael H. Crowl died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in residence at the age of 63. He was born in Toledo to William & Barbara (Payne) Crowl and graduated from Whitmer High School in 1970.

After high school, Mike served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He moved to Colorado in 1982 where he began his career with Service Corporation International. He returned Toledo in 2001 to spend time with his children & grandchildren.

Mike loved football from playing to watching his son and grandsons play and coach. One of his proudest moments was receiving a citizen's award for assisting a police officer in Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara and sister Linda.

Mike is survived by his father William; children Michael Jr., Kevin (Jodie), Brian (Samantha) and Kimberly; grandchildren Nick, Makynna, Bryce, Sydney and Blaize; and brother Scott (Sharon) of Colorado.

Friends may call at the Foth – Dorfmeyer Mortuary 3815 Sylvania Ave. from 4-8 PM. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church 4030 Douglas Rd. Toledo, OH  43623 where the family prefers memorial tributes.
