Michael W. Murphy, 60, passed away on April 21, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio from complications associated with pancreatic cancer. He was born October 2, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland to Donald and Betty Murphy.

Michael served in the National Guard for 8 years as a Sergeant First Class. He was passionate about God and the Bible, nature, westerns and sci-fi movies and his grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his wife, Colette; his children Missenda (Kevin) Gedert and Heather (Steven) Stanley; and his grandchildren Charles Madden and Ava Stanley. He is also survived by his sisters Bonita Jordan, Carmella (Paul) Gartee, Dessie (Eddie) Bell, and Sandra (Richard) Scott; and his brother John (Joan) Murphy. He also has a multitude of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Harry and Donald Murphy.
