IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Patrick
Skibinski
December 16, 1948 – November 16, 2024
Michael Skibinski 75, peacefully passed away on November 16, 2024, in Toledo Ohio. Born on December 16, 1948, to Edward and Lottie Skibinski. Mike had attended St. Adalbert Parish and
later graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1966 and continued his education at the University of Toledo. He retired from Owen's Corning Fiberglass and went on to work BP as
well as running a few personal ventures in business. He was a lifelong member of the Flying Tigers R/C club, he enjoyed spending his free time coaching, joking, educating, building, and
flying RC planes, mentoring, and most importantly leading as an admirable example of dad, uncle, husband, and Poppy. Michael lived a life marked by devotion to his family and an
unmatched sharp sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his sister Barbara (Seymour Spears), loving sons; Christopher Skibinski (Corie Hudson), Gregory Skibinski (Laura Ellis). He was known best as Poppy to his cherished
grandchildren; Jourdan, Adam, Emma, Ellie, Briella, and Ethan, as well as his Great Grandson Braxton, nieces and nephews Antoinette, Deanna, Rob,+ and Geno and an extensive extended
family. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Gene, former wife of 20+ years Cathy M. (Brown) and daughter Heather. He was generous without limit, a pillar of strength and love for his family, always ensuring that their needs were met first and often brightening their days with endless laughter and joy. Michael's legacy is not only in the love he shared, or example set but also in the memories he leaves as a devoted family man who was always there with a joke when it was needed the most. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
