Patricia J. "Pat" (Glass) Hamilton of Toledo, Oh passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Dec. 26, 2023.

She was born April 13, 1933 to Una Gardner & Orville Glass but she always said her father was Donald Worf who was her mother's second husband.  She was a graduate of Waite HS.

Patricia married George Hamilton on Nov. 18, 1950 and had two children, Robin and Patrick.  She was a stay at home mom until her children were older and she decided to go back to work and took a job at LaSalles payroll dept. and then Schindler Haughton Elevator payroll dept.  In 1981 after both children were married they decided to buy a Quickprint print shop in Clearwater FL. After many years in the print shop, she decided to leave the day to day operations there to George and Patrick and she got a job at Anclote Title Co. as a loan processor/closer.  Pat  retired from there and they sold the printshop & moved back to Ohio to be closer to their two grandsons, Chris and Daniel.

She got to make a bucket trip to London England with her daughter and good friend Julie.

After being retired for a few years she got bored and got a job at Bob Evans as a hostess and worked there for 10 years and made a lot of good friends there and kept in close contact with.

Pat loved to read a lot and watch old movies, especially musicals and had quite the DVD collection and loved all types of music.

She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Toledo (Point Place) where she had many dear friends and was in the choir and at one time she was the director of the Childrens Choir.

She was preceded in death by husband, George and son Patrick, parents and grandparents, sister Donna and great niece Danielle.

She is survived by her daughter Robin (David) Benn, grandchildren, Christopher (Katharine) and Daniel Benn, sister, Nelgene (Charles) Randall and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Many thanks and love to Katie and Don (KT's restaurant) and their staff for taking such good care of her whenever she came in to eat.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday April 26, 2024 at 11 AM in Messiah Lutheran Church.
