Phillip James Ball passed away Saturday May 21, 2016 in Ebeid Hospice Residence at the age of 65.  He was born April 21, 1951 in Toledo to James W. & Madelene (Bowen) Ball.

Phil worked for Gladieux Catering 30 yrs before his retirement. He was an avid fan of the University of Michigan, Dallas Cowboys and loved country music. Phil's greatest love was his family. His unforgettable joking and laughing will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Phil was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his son Wesley Ball; daughter Emilee Ball; brother Tracy Ball; sister Deborah Vanderstelt; sister-in-law Mary Gawronski and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday after 4 pm followed by a Celebration of Phil's Life at 7 pm in the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd.. The family prefers memorial tributes be made to Mercy Cancer Center or the charity of the donor's choice
