Reinhold N. "Ron" Wuwert born November 25, 1937 passed peacefully February 25, 2023.

Husband of Margaret. Father of son Butch Wuwert, daughter Sarah Roth (Don), son Tim (Janeen), and son-in-law Mike Watson (Mary Ann). Predeceased by his daughter Gretchen Watson, his parents, and two siblings. Grandfather to Andy Wuwert (Christine), Lindsay Ganues (Jeff), Heather Piggott (Scott), Holly Duquet (Dave), Ashley Walters (Dave), Ryan Roth, Andrea Couture, Anna Watson, and Jacob Watson. Great grandfather to 19.

Ron worked for the United States Post Office for over 35 years. He worked his way up from letter carrier to the head of maintenance up until his retirement.

In his spare time, Ron, enjoyed building Lionel train sets, repairing trains, and attending train meets. He enjoyed opening his home each Christmas season for friends and family to come and view his train collections. Ron shared his love of trains with his family by getting each new member their own train set.

Ron also spent time volunteering at various churches over the years including the Men's Luther league, treasurer, and the Boy Scout Troop 12.

Ron's true passion was being a part of the Masons. He served in multiple roles over the many years he was involved with the Masons. His proudest moment was achieving 33rd Degree Mason.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday from after 4 PM followed by Masonic services at 7PM and visitation at Hope Lutheran Church 2201 Secor Rd. Ottawa Hills after 10 AM Friday followed by funeral services at 11 AM.
