Rick Hetzel 69, of Ottawa Lake, MI passed away at home on February 26 surrounded by his loving family. Rick graduated from Bedford H.S. and MCCC. He retired as a machinist from DTE Energy-Monroe Power Plant. In his retirement, Rick loved spending time with his family. Always known for his sense of humor, Rick was a friend to many. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and working on small engines. Rick is survived by his loving wife Micki, their children Garrett (Kyleigh), Anna, Jaclynn(Zack), and his dogs Maya and Willow. Per Rick's wishes, his funeral will be private. There will be a celebration of Rick's life at a later date for family and friends. Thank you to everyone who has reached out during this difficult time.
