Robert Marruquin, Sr. a.k.a. "Bob a Loue" passed away on Thursday July 15, 2021 in his home at the age of 77. He was born August 2, 1944 in Baxter County San Antonio, Texas to Porfirio B and Lucinda (Gomez) Marruquin, Sr..

Robert worked at GM Powertrain for 38 years before his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ruben Marruquin and Porfirio Marruquin, Jr.and granddaughter Jennifer Marruquin.Robert is survived by his loving wife Irene M. Marruquin; sons Robert (Becky) Marruquin, Jr., Pilo (Gina) Marruquin and Joe (Shannon) Marruquin all of Toledo; daughters Lydia (Odis) Warren of Tennessee and Lettecia Marruquin of Toledo; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother Tomas (Qela) Marruquin of Donna, TX; sisters Elida M, (Jose) Huerta Odem, TX and Inez (Norman) Cole of Temperance, MI; sister-in-law Ruby Marruquin as well as several nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday after 3 followed by a Rosary Service at 7 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 AM in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
