Robert Joseph Matuszynski passed away on Monday March 1st in Toledo Hospital at the age of 89. He was born May 1, 1931 in Toledo to Edmund and Mary (Jankowski) Matuszynski. After high school, Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War where he received schooling as a machinist. He continued his education earning his Bachelor's Degree and continuing his lifelong career as a tool & die maker.

Robert loved fishing, bowling, playing bingo and nature. He was greatly loved by everyone who knew him and will be missed by many.

. Robert is survived by son Edmund (Loraina) Matuszynski, grandchildren Robert Owen, Angie (Amy) Owen, Cole Matuszynski, Johnathon Matuszynski, Jordon Matuszynski, and Julion Matuszynski.

Friends and family may gather for a limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 guests in the funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities; please limit visiting to 10 min. or less so others may come in to pay their respects) on Saturday, March 6, 2021 after 2 PM followed by  a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM at Castillo Funeral Home, Toledo 1757 Tremainsville Road.
