Robert "Bobby" James Sass passed away Sunday May 6, 2018 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center at the age of 51. He was born July 31, 1966 in Toledo to Stephen J. and Marcella L. (Newman) Sass and graduated from Woodward High School in 1984.

Bobby was known for his kindness and generous heart.  But mostly he knew how to make everyone laugh.  Bobby worked at Jakes Saloon with his family for many years when he was younger and most recently he worked at Jeep.

He truly loved his family and long time friend/companion, Denise of 15 years. Denise says that one of Bobby's favorite places was Kentucky where they lived for several years.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  He is now at peace partying with his family that has gone before him.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Stephen Sass and Marcella Sass along with his brothers Stephen "Jake"  Sass and Frank Sass.  He is survived by his long time friend Denise Pitts, along with his Sister Mary Lou (Tom) Mills; brother David (Kim) Sass; nephews Thomas (Tammi) Mills, Jeffrey (Kathy) Mills; nieces Candace (Brian) Marshall, Dawn (Greg) Jagodzinski, Tami (Christopher) Lusiak and numerous cousins.

A private Celebration of Bobby's Life will be held at a later date.
