Ronald G. Adkins, 67, of Toledo, Ohio, died as a result of a car accident on February 19, 2016.  He was born on June 22, 1948 to Rassie and Gladys Adkins from Branchland, WV.  He is survived by his brothers: Danny (Susie) Adkins, Sam (Vivian) Adkins and Sister Marcia (Stan) Waldfogel and seven nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Larry.

Ron was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Marine Corps from 1965 to 1968.  He loved to play guitar and sing, and his band, Ron & the Rhythm Makers, played at various venues throughout Toledo from early 1970 to end of 1980.

A family memorial service will be held at a future date after which he will be laid to rest with his parents and older brother in Branchland, WV
