Rosa Maria (Martinez) Trujillo, 74, of, Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 31, 2023 after a long battle with a terminal illness.

Rosa was born on February 14, 1949 to Silvera (Marquez) Martinez and Crensenciano Martinez in Raymondville, Texas. She graduated from Harlingen High School in 1967.

After high school, Rosa moved to Ohio to pursue a better life. It was here that she met and married Jesus Trujillo on September 11, 1970 and they went on to have three children, Rosalinda (Trujillo) Douglas, Maria Elena (Trujillo) Guel, Jose Jesus Trujillo.

Rosa went on to raise her family and serve her community as a beautician for many years before God placed a higher calling on her spirit.

Rosa would go on to pursue nursing and in 1993, she graduated with her LPN from Toledo Practical Nursing. She worked in the Toledo area, primarly as an LPN at Flower Hospital.

Rosa was a true warrior of God. She loved the Lord and dedicated her life to walking in His purpose. During her time on earth, she did missionary work in downtown Toledo, ministering to her fellow man. She was a dedicated member at End Time Gathering Church in Sylvania, Ohio.

Rosa was predeceased by her parents, Silveria Martinez and Crensenciano Martinez. She is survived by her sisters, Sylvia Garcia, Maximina Guzman (Feliciano Guzman), Esperanza Pecina (Hermilo Pecina), Isabel Torres (Gregorio Torres), Dolores Zuniga, Rufina Arriaga, Adela Martinez, Maria Luisa Martinez; children, Rosalinda Douglas (Jason Douglas), Maria Guel (Matthew Schindler),  Jose Trujillo (Sarah Hong-Trujillo), her grandchildren, Alyssa Martinez-Baker (Jeffery Baker), Isaac Douglas (Eric Douglas), Olympia Douglas, Elijah Douglas, Israel Douglas, Sinai Douglas, Alexia Lykans, Joshua Lykans, Angelina Guel, Evan West, Lucas Trujillo and Sofia Trujillo and a host of great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at End Time Gathering Church 5606 Marshall Road, Sylvania, Ohio 43560 on Wednesday, April 5. 2023  after 11:00 a.m. followed by services at 11:30 a.m..
