(Jablonski) Pinniger
February 8, 1918 – April 20, 2016
Rose A. Pinniger passed away Wednesday April 20, 2016 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio at the age of 98. She was born to John and Mary (Kreicoch) Jablonski February 8, 1918 in Toledo. Rose graduated from Woodward High School in 1936. She worked at Lamson's, Libbey Glass and retired after 27 yrs from AP Parts as their comptroller and was the first key punch operator in Toledo. After her retirement, she and her husband Art spent their time together at their summer home in Port Clinton.
Rose was a member of Perrysburg Senior Club, 55+ Club at St. Vincent DePaul Parish where she was also very involved with scouting programs. She loved camping, fishing, crocheting especially Afghans, baby blankets & sweater sets.
She married Alfred "Art" in 1939 in St. Vincent DePaul parish and he preceded her in death as well as her daughter Mary. Rose is survived by her son David Pinniger; daughter Sharon (Gary) Van Dyke; granddaughter Angela Bee; great grandsons Brendan and Jase.
Rose was loved by everyone whom she encountered with her outgoing personality and her willingness to give of herself to others.
Family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 PM at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd near Jackman & Sylvania. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 1 PM in St. Adalbert Catholic Church followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
