Roy Charles Cheatham passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 22, 2020 at the age of 73. He was born July 7, 1946 in Houston Texas to Roy C. & Nell (Mann) Cheatham.

Roy was extremely proud of the work he had accomplished during his lifetime. He touched the lives of everyone he met and was willing to help someone in need and would go to any length to make them laugh. Roy loved his family fiercely, would do anything to protect them and made time no matter what to play with his grandchildren. He was by all definitions a Family Man.

Roy was a proud Texan and honored to be a decedent of Davy Crockett and most importantly he remained strong through all the obstacles put in his path.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Ireta and is survived by his 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 1 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2 PM.
