Ruby Elaine (Meadows) Stiver, age 68, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday (April 11, 2018) at St. Anne Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on September 10, 1949 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Lewis Edward Meadows and Bertha Combs. She married Ronald W. Stiver on April 14, 1973 in West Virginia. They were married for 34 years, and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2008. Left to cherish her memories are her children Samantha (David Cook), Leah (Dusten Brown), David (Emily Stiver); Grandchildren Dustin (Jaime), Zoe, Katy, Mia, Alayna, Riley, and Remington and fiance Jerry Leestma. She was a 1967 graduate of Pendleton High School in Pendleton, Indiana. She was quite proud of her children and grandchildren.The things that gave her the greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and traveling. Friends will be received from Saturday 11am to 1:30pm at Castillo Funeral Home,1757 Tremainsville Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43613. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:30pm followed by a graveside service at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 Central Ave. Toledo, Ohio 43606. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at St. Anne Hospital for the care and compassion that Ruby received.
