Sally Marie Northrup passed away peacefully in her loving husband's arms  at their home at the age of 68. She was born December 12, 1953 in Toledo Ohio to Fred and Marie (Sprouse) Vallongo.  After high school, Sally served in the U.S. Army National Guard and continued her education at Mercy St. Vincent School of Nursing.  She pursued her career as a Registered Nurse at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center where she retired from after 35 years.

She loved playing pool a love she shared with her husband Cliff ; playing in many leagues over the years.  Her pool family will deeply miss her.

Sally's greatest joy was spending time with her family whether it is at Kalahari Park, holiday events or any gatherings that brought them all together

Sally is survived by her husband Clifford Northrup; son Robert (Andrea) Smith; daughter Sally Jo Northrup (Chris); step daughter Crystal Northrup; granddaughters Christine, Megan, Anna, Amy, Allysa, Scarlett; grandson Christopher Jr.; and great grandchildren.

Sally's family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday September 8, 2022 after 4:00pm where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 PM. PRN Nurses Honor Guard of Toledo will perform a final call to discharge Sally as a nurse from her duty.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to her family to help offset expenses and would be greatly appreciated.
