Sandra Kay Gibbons passed away in her home August 29th 2026 at the age of 60. She was born May 6th 1966 in Richmond IN to Cecil and Mary (Ingram) Gibbons Sandy was a classically trained chef who cooked and worked in restaurants in the United states as well as in New Zealand.

She loved traveling, camping, tubing down rivers, heavy metal music especially the band Tesla, obsessed with monkeys and polka dots, watching old movies and crime shows as well as having a good time at concerts and hanging out with family and friends.

Sandy is survived by her love loving husband Darren T. Soules; daughters Stephanie L. Eckhart and Brooke Eckhart; son Skylar Eckhart; grandchildren Boston Collins and Everly Collins; siblings Earlene Bailey, Warren White & James White; stepdaughters Ashley Soules and Sarah (Noah Yalung) Soules; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces; and of course her psycho cat Sebastian.

She is preceded in death by her dads Richard White and Cecil Gibbons; uncle John Simmons and cousin Casey Simpson.

Her family will have a Celebration of Life on October 24th 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Regina Coeli Hall 530 Regina Pkwy. Toledo, OH 43612.
