Sandra K. Koester passed away unexpectedly Wednesday February 15, 2017 at the age of 62. She was born January 11, 1955 in Kilmarnock, Virginia to Edward and Mary (Hamlin) Reynolds and she attended Woodward High School.

Sandy enjoyed spending time at Randall Lake with her family and friends. Her grandson Noah was her pride and joy. Sandy was also self-employed and had a catering business for many years. She enjoyed spending time on Myrtle Beach whenever she had the chance. She was a member of First Baptist Church Sylvania and will be missed dearly by many.

Sandy is preceded in death by her husband of 26 yrs. Karl Koester; her parents Edward & Mary Reynolds; her brothers Gary and Thomas Reynolds; brother-in-law Frank Hunt and nephew Frankie Hunt.

She is survived by her sister Jean Hunt; brothers Robert (Phoebe) Reynolds, Donald (Brenda) Reynolds, sister-in-law Nellie Reynolds, grandson Noah Roscoe and many nieces and nephews.

Her family held a private Celebration of Life Ceremony. Memorial tributes may be made in her name to the charity of the donor's choice.
