Severa Monica Contreras passed away on Thursday April 22nd in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center at the age of 46. She was born July 17, 1974 in Milwaukee, WI to Jesus & Emma (Ortiz) Hernandez .

Severa was employed at Carmel's Restaurant for many years where she was known for her beautiful smile. She was never judgmental of anyone and would live life to the fullest. Most of all, Severa loved her family, whom she would give the warmest hugs to and anyone else who may have needed one.

She is preceded death by her father Jesus Herandez; mother Emma Contreras; children Reyes Daniel Aguilar and John Engelhardt, Jr. and is survived by her better half husband David Aguilar; children April Engelhardt, Rebecca Engelhardt, Joshua Lopez, David Aguilar, Jr., Reyna Aguilar, Angel Aguilar as well as her nephew Eliseo  Romo, whom she loved as her own; siblings Antonio Contreras, Tomasa Romo and Juanita Engelhardt; her extended siblings Gloria (Cito) Reyna, Esmeralda Reyna, Raul (Stacey) Reyna, Maria (Mike) Lindsey, Roberta (Javi) Ruiz and Samuel (Tyra) Reyna; her in-laws whom she loved as her own parents Raul (Kelly) Reyna and Edna (Ismael) Ruiz.

Friends and family may gather for a limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 guests in the funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities; please limit visiting to 10 min. or less so others may come in to pay their respects) at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday May 6th from 2-7 PM Funeral Mass at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 728 S. St. Clair St. Friday  at 11 AM.
