Shelley Ann Shoemaker passed away Thursday April 27th at Ebeid Hopsice Residence at the age of 61. She was born December 27, 1961 in Marshall, MI to Robert & Judith (Bossler) Grimes. Shelley graduated from Ida High School  and earned her nursing degree.

Shelley continued her career as a nurse until her health forced her into retirement. She enjoyed baking, cooking and shopping on Amazon. Shelley was an avid Detroit Tigers and Michigan Wolverine fan. She loved traveling, camping and going to concerts and baseball games with her nieces and nephews, their theme was "Wild Thing".

Shelley is preceded in death by her grandparents; father Robert Grimes and sister-in-law Madieline Grimes. Left to cherish her memories are her former husband and dear friend Michael Shoemaker; mother Judith Grimes; sister Robin (Jim) Delamotte; brother Mark Grimes; special niece and Goddaughter Stephanie (Bryan) Blank; special friends Terri Claud, MJ and their families; as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Shelley's family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home  1757 Tremainsville Rd. Wednesday after 4 PM followed by a Celebration of Life memorial service at 6 PM.
