Shirley Ann Hudgins passed away March 11, 2026 at home with her family by her side at the age of 85. She was born April 11, 1940 in Toledo to John and Lillie (Prince) Bonner and graduated from Scott High School in 1959.

After high school, she married Leon Napoleon Hudgins. Shirley was a homemaker and loved to cook, entertaining family and friends at her barbeque cookouts. She also loved motorcycles; riding as a member of the Toledo Eagles Motorcycle Club with her mother.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and son Leon Hudgins, Jr.. She is survived by her loving daughter Lillie Hudgins; grandchildren Markiesha (Rita) Hudgins, Geneva Hudgins and Erica (Reginald) King; great grandchildren MaQuaia, Eniyah Mallett, Malaysa, Reginald, Mia, Jamillah and Lyrica.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 28, 2026 from 1- 4 PM at PhillipsTemple CME Church 565 Palmwood Ave. Toledo, OH 43604.
