Simon C. Martinez, Jr., who was born Norvember 13, 1974 passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2022.

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I announce the passing of my father Simon C. Martinez, Jr.. He was great father and was well known throughout the south end community. He walked through the neighborhood always smiling visiting family and friends.

Simon is preceded in death by his father Simon C. Martinez, Sr.. He is survived by his mother Mary Sarabia; stepfather Joseph Hoffman; children Simon C. Martinez, III, Lucas Wyatt Martinez, Gabriella Lynn Martinez; granddaughters Sierra Rose Escobar and Adelina Martinez; siblings Tony Sarabia, Monica Martinez, Daniel (Cassandra) Martinez, Felicia (Ed) Guel, Bianca (Stephen) Pahl, Santos (Jody) Ortiz, Esuebio (Melinda) Martinez, Emilio (Leticia) Martinez and Enrique Martinez; as well as 15 nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 17587 Tremainsville Rd. Thursday from 4-7 PM and have a Memorial Funeral Mass at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Friday at 1 PM.
