IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tana Marie
(Russo) Nagle
May 7, 1942 – March 6, 2026
Tana Marie Nagle passed away in the early hours of March 6, 2026, in her sleep. She spent her final moments surrounded by her loving family. Tana was born Tana Marie Russo to Joseph and Anna (Besase) Russo on May 7, 1942. As a child Tana enjoyed taking the bus downtown after school and singing on WSPD's Kiddie Carnival with her siblings.
Tana graduated from Central Catholic High School in Toledo in 1960. After continuing her education at the University of Toledo, she married John Nagle in 1965 and they had 2 sons. She helped John run his plumbing company. She also taught ballroom dancing as her and her husband were excellent dancers. In the 80s and 90s, she owned and operated Continental Catering.
Tana enjoyed hosting, cooking and making candies. Her lasagna and meatballs were leftovers to be fought for on Christmas. Her candy apples were always coveted by her grandchildren's elementary school teachers as well as friends and family.
She valued her family more than anything. She never missed her sons' or grandsons' sporting events. She was also a devoted sister and a beloved aunt to her siblings and their children. Her dedication wasn't limited to the people that shared her name. Her close friends, like the Restivo family, were family to her just the same
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Joanne. She is survived by her sons, John (Jill) and Mark (Kim) Nagle.; brother, Joseph (Cathy) Russo; niece, Nicole (Jeff) Minkowski; nephews, Joseph Russo, Fred and Greg (Jackie) Mitchell; grandchildren, Dalton (Rachel) Nagle and Hunter (Grace) Nagle; great-grandchildren Bethany, Leyland and River Nagle who she adored; and loving great nieces Sadie, Sofie, Anabella and Adalina,
Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Wednesday from 3-7 PM and Thursday after 9:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church 4100 Harvest Lane where Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Mom's House 2505 Franklin Ave. Toledo, OH 43610.
