Teddy James Baer passed away peacefully July 3, 2023 in his home at the age of 63. He was born August 6, 1959 in Toledo to Forrest and Virginia Baer.

Teddy was a self-employed vendor of various products and enjoyed entertaining kids with some of the various products he sold. He would love showing kids card and magic tricks. Teddy liked to go the horse track and playing cards. He would always help others and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ted was preceded in death by parents, grandparents Naomi Johnson and Ari Baer Sr.; son Chad Baer; siblings Terry, Ari, and Tammy Baer and sister-in-law Janet Baer.

He is survived by his loving wife Brenda;  children Tedra Medley Baer, Jeff (Margaret) Baer, Elizabeth (Jeremy) King and Ashley Franklin; grandchildren Mykael, Tete, Teona, Javon, Zamia Jeff, James, Jeremy, Jayden, Jasmine, Renee', Jacob, Ashton, Landon, and Tanner; brothers David Baer, Harold Kohler; step brothers Larry Kohler, and Melvin Misiewicz; sisters Marianne York and Gwen Kohler; step sister Tina Wilson; along with a host of other family and friends.

Teddy's family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainville Rd. Friday after 12 Noon followed by funeral services at 2 PM.
