Tennie Maxine Underwood passed away September 15, 2018 in her home at the age of 61. She was born December 14, 1956 in Portsmouth, OH to William and Ivy (Lambert) Gibson. Tennie attended Portsmouth High School and studied to be a chef at Hospitality Culinary School.

She loved spending time with her family particularly her grandkids. Tennie was also known to indulge in using cannabis.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Rose Marie Moore. Tennie is survived by her children Loren Underwood, William ( Vanessa) Underwood, Jessica Suttles and James Underwood; grandchildren Hannah, Austin, Trinity, Ivy, Annalece, Skylynne, Derrick, Domingo, Loren, Rumor, Isaiah, Tessa, Anniah, and Alivia; great grandson Ayden; siblings Jim (Becky) Gibson, Penny Gibson, Patsy Gibson, Judy (Nolan) Silvey and Angel Gibson.

Family will receive friends Saturday from 3-6 PM at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. where funeral services will be held Sunday at 11 AM.
