Terry Lee Evearitt passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025 with his family by his side. Terry was born on October 4, 1961 to Richard and Arlene Evearitt in Toledo, Ohio.
Terry was a graduate of Devilbiss High School, where he played hockey.
He pursued a career at the Toledo Jeep Plant and then later worked at the Chrysler Toledo Machining Plant in Perrysburg in which he dedicated himself for 20 plus years.
He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys fan and always looked forward to football season.
Terry's greatest accomplishment was becoming a father and then a grandfather. He was so proud of all three of his children and he loved each of them dearly.
Terry will be remembered by his friends and family for his willingness to stop whatever he was doing and help anyone who needed it and his unwavering love for his entire family.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Richard and Arlene Evearitt; his brothers Robert and Thomas Evearitt, his sister, Carol Sobb; his brother in laws, Danny Pluckhorn, Andrew Sobb, and Larry Swicegood; and his sister in law, Janel Evearitt.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Chad (Ashley) Evearitt, Lindsey (Mark Ewing) Lehman, and Dustyn (Stephanie) Evearitt; his grandchildren, Kamden, Callie, Carsyn, Trey, Caroline, Rowyn, Mila, and Maci; his siblings, Donna Pluckhorn, Cheryl Swicegood, Rick (Jan) Evearitt, Lynn (Karen) Evearitt, Donald Evearitt, Barb (John) Kachenmeister, Sandra Evearitt, and Jim (Lori) Evearitt; sister in law, Debbie Evearitt; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial tributes may be made to his family via this website to help offset expenses.
His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Sunday June 15th after 2 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial service at 3 PM.
