Alonzo Donell Lewis

Alonzo D. Lewis, 52 of Toledo, OH passed away peacefully, in his home. GOD called him home on November 23, 2020, his 52nd Birthday. He was born on November 23, 1968 to Robert L Lewis and Iva Jean Lewis, who both preceded him in death, in Hinds County, Mississippi. 

Alonzo enjoyed fishing, singing and cooking for his loved ones. His favorite times were being surrounded by his family and friends while sharing a meal and some laughs. Being a man of strong personality, passion, and a protective nature of what he loved. Alonzo was sure to instill loyalty and strong family values within his children. He has touched the lives of many with his humorous personality and culinary skills. His contagious laugh and constant jokes were sure to put you in a good mood if you were ever lucky enough to spend some time with him.

Alonzo is survived by his children; Alonzo, Avante, Jordan, and Olivia, and his two Grandsons that he was always willing to brag about; Kaynen and Alonzo Jr. He was also survived by special friends Krista and Jennifer as well as his 6 siblings; Elaine, Sharon, Anthony, Belinda, Greg, and Stanley along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends and Family are welcome for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 in funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities) at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 4 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to his family via this website to help offset expenses.
