Arthur Raymond Kieffer

Arthur “Art” R. Kieffer, 68 of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Art was born on January 28, 1957, in Alajuela, Costa Rica to Abraham Chorres and Blanca Sanchez. He was lovingly raised in Toledo by Charles and Mary Lou Kieffer. Art was a 1975 graduate of Rogers High School. Art worked for Pfizer as a pharmaceutical rep for more than two decades. He enjoyed watching and playing golf, going on many vacations throughout his life, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, going to Loma Linda’s and spending time with his family, especially his grandson, August.

 Art was preceded in death by his biological parents, Abraham and Blanca and his adoptive parents, Charles and Mary Lou. He is survived by his wife Chris, daughters Natalie (Cody) Warner and Carly Kieffer, and his grandson August. Art is also survived by his sisters Dionny, Yamileth, and Roxana, his brother Pepe and all of his nieces and nephews in Costa Rica.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Wednesday after 3 PM followed by funeral services at 6 PM. Private interment will be held at Toledo Memorial Park.
