Brynn Meyers Parrish, 80, of Sylvania, OH, left on a new adventure 9/14/2021.
Brynn was born in Toledo 9/19/1940 to Robert G. “Pretz” and Mary L. (Roby) Russell.
She grew up in Sylvania, graduating Burnham H.S. in 1958. She was a beauty queen and belle of the ball! After high school she married and raised three sons. Three rambunctious sons! After working many years at various companies, she decided to start her own. In 1986 she opened Amazing Space, a closet and storage design company. It was a success and she was in her element! Always a people person, many of her clients became friends.
She had so many dear friends that it’s impossible to list them all. She kept friends from school and added to the bunch over the next 60+ years. With many of these friends, old and new, she had wonderful vacations, parties and adventures!
After retiring she devoted her life to her grandkids. She adored all of them and the feeling was mutual! I can’t find the words to express the depth of her love for her family and friends but, if you are in that lucky group, you don’t need words. You’ll feel it for the rest of your life.
Waiting for her on the other side are her parents, sister Darla Watkins and ex-husband and friend Art Parrish. Left with wonderful memories are her sons Troy, Mark and D.C. (Laurie) Meyers. Stepkids Dawn Sanford and David Parrish.Sisters Tracey (Jim) Lanning and Jillian Hauser. Brothers RobertG. (Renee) Russell and Robert G. (Kenice) Russell. Grandchildren Ashleigh Bandy, Josh, Tristan and Andrew Meyers and Jake and Lia Sanford. Greatgrandchildren Ayden, Paisley Brynn and River. Also loving cousins, nieces and nephews and so many dear friends.
Because of her son Mark and incredible friends Patti Wickliff and Connie Piotrowski, Brynn was cared for at home, able to visit with friends and family and died surrounded in love.
In her own words:
“Well, I died. I hope I did not ‘go gentle into that good night’. Not my style. I had a pretty good life, a beautiful mother, Mary Vogeli, father Pretz Russell, the best sisters, Darla, Tracey and Jill, and my brother Bob and my other brother Bob. I had three pretty terrific sons, Troy, Mark and D.C.,step kids Dawn and David and my beloved grandchildren Josh, Ashleigh, Tristan, Andrew, Jake, Lia and greatgrandchildren Ayden, Paisley Brynn and River. My heart bursts with love for all of them.
I also had two ex-husbands, one was pretty great (figure it out yourselves, boys!) and best friends since childhood Patti (aka Louise) and Deedee, and my angel neighbor Connie.
I wanted to stay forever because I so loved all of you. But don’t be sad because I just heard an announcement that there’s skinny-dipping at dusk. Oh my, I must be in heaven!”
