Carlos "Bobby" Torres

Carlos “Bobby” Torres, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, surrounded by his family.  Born in Sinton, Tx to Jesusa Herrera & George Torres he later moved to Toledo, OH with his beloved wife Virginia Martinez, where he made his home.  Carlos was an affectionate, dedicated hard-working individual who always put the needs of others ahead of his own.  He also had a good sense of humor that would make you laugh.

Preceded in death by his wife Virginia (Martinez)Torres; parents, Jesusa & George Torres; son, Corey Michael Torres; grandsons Rocky Conley, III, Domonic Torres; sister Rosie; brother, George “Billy” Torres.

Carlos is survived by his brothers, Frank (Mary) & Rudy (Sharon) Torres.  Sisters, Viola, Linda, Marianne, Gracy, Diana, Enna. Daughters, Shannon Torres (Jose Cuellar), Shelly Torres (Rocky Conley II), and Carrie Torres (Phillip Escamilla); sons, Bryan (Trisha) Torres and Cliff Torres, grandkids; Corey Anthony, Antonio Ruiz, Santos, Rosalinda, Alonzo, Angelica, Cliff Rosendo, Ciarra, Mario, Alianna, Diego, Alyissana, Amaya Torres, Breanna, Isabella, Delicia Cuellar, Kalina, Rocky IV, Karter Conley, Marianna, Miguel, Armando Perez, Ariella, Adalina Escamilla; great grandkids, Antonio Ruiz Jr., Alex, Camilo, Elise Ruiz, Marcelo Garcia; as well as many nieces and nephews but one special nephew Chris Torres.

Carlos’s family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Wednesday from 10 AM to 1 PM followed by interment at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
