Curtis "Pete" Otis Harris, Jr.

Curtis ‘Pete’ Otis Harris, Jr. was born June 15, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the oldest of three children born to Curtis and Eleanor Harris. He and his siblings, Wilbert ‘Deke’ Harris and Janet Harris, grew up on Detroit's East Side. Pete graduated from Osborn High School.

Pete was always a hard worker having worked for many years in retail and automotive. He was an avid reader with an impressive book collection - especially novels by Stephen King.

Pete is survived by his children Verné (Inskip) Rochford and James (Regine) Harris; grandchildren Déja, Amanda, Asia, Daryl, Alexandria, Emmanuel, Meagan, Ariana, and Alexander; brother Deke Harris; sister Janet Harris; nephews Jeron and Thomas ‘TJ’; nieces Anisha and Keyera; and partner Linda Pribe.

The family of Curtis ‘Pete’ Otis Harris, Jr. will host private memorial at a later date.
