Darvell Anthony Nelson 4/20/2012 – 11/24/2025

Darvell passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2025 in his home at the age of 13.

Anthony was a very bright and energetic young man.  He was a former student at DeVeaux Elementary School.  He loved to be outdoors, riding bikes, playing with other children.  He was a sweet, caring, creative, and funny person.

Darvelle is survived by his mother & stepfather, MayMay & Dave; father Darnelle, siblings Alaysha & Ar’Mondray; maternal grandparents, Leslie & David, paternal, Valery & Leslie, aunts & uncles, Michelle & Michael, Crystal & Michael, Earl, Terry, Tamika, cousins, Meranda & Damon, Joshua, Bri, Hannah, Quan & Rasul; Bonus family Daddio, Biggie and the Brown family plus many more friends and family that loves him dearly.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Sunday after 1 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to his family via this website to help offset expenses.
