David Norman Redlin passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, at the age of 63.
He will be remembered as a kind, easygoing man who loved sports, golf and the people closest to him.
A lifelong fan of Michigan football, the Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Lions, he rarely missed a game and always had an opinion on the season. He loved swapping stories about sports with friends and family—usually with a grin.
Away from the TV, he was happiest on the golf course, enjoying the game at a relaxed pace and good company. He also treasured his time in Florida, especially the calm mornings and golden evenings on Daytona Beach.
For more than 30 years, he shared life with his partner and best friend, Joanne Foley. Their years together were filled with quiet moments, steady support, and plenty of laughter.
He will be missed for his easy conversation, steady presence, and the way he brought people together—whether it was for a tee time, a ballgame, or a simple visit.
Go Blue, swing free, and rest easy, dear friend.
Private services were held by his family.
