Diane Frieda (Imbery) Duling

Diane F. Duling, age 84, passed away on April 24, 2025 after a brief illness. Born on July 17, 1940 to Leo and Edith Imbery, Diane grew up in West Toledo, attending Scott High School.

She met her soulmate, William Duling, at a Halloween party and were inseparable from that day on. Married in 1961, they had two children, Reginald and Rebecca. Diane worked for Huntington National Bank for 26 years before working 10 years at Northwest Title.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William, her son Reginald Duling (wife Janina Rongerude Duling and children Logan, Carson and Jessica) and her daughter Rebecca Komorny (husband Mark Komorny and children Bryce and Blake Rohrs, Evan and Ian Komorny). She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Alice Rohrs, and her brother, Timothy Imbery.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Edith, and her brother, Leo Jr. Diane loved reading, puzzles, antiquing, Scrabble, playing cards, gardening, and spending time with her family. Christmas was always a special time for the family, and she had a knack for finding unique, special gifts.

Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. after 4 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
