Dorothy Dolores (Domansky) Popoff

Dorothy D. Popoff, 92 of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, September 18th 2024. Dorothy was born on September 8th, 1932 in Toledo to Frank and Anna (Bork) Domansky.  She was a 1950s graduate of Whitney Vocational. Dorothy worked at Ohio Bell for many years before becoming a school secretary for a little over a decade at Rogers High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, traveling, drinking coffee and playing Scrabble with her daughter Christie.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her father Frank, mother Anna, husband George Popoff and her two sons, Terry and Randy Popoff. She is survived by her daughter; Christie (Art) Kieffer;  daughter in law Michelle Popoff; granddaughters  Eveleen, Natalie (Cody) Warner and Carly Kieffer; grandsons Randy Jr. and Nicholas (Brittany); great grandchildren Olivia, Kareem, Isaiah, Kamdyn, Jaxon, Damon, Khalil, Kaleena, and August. 

Friends may visit at the Castillo Funeral Home, 1757 Tremainsville Rd Toledo Oh 43613 on Thursday September 26th from 4-7pm. Private entombment will be held Friday.
