Eileen Kay (Hejnicki) Kropaczewski

Eileen K. (Hejnicki) Kropaczewski, age 72, passed away on August 2, 2021.  

  Born on April 13, 1949 to Frank Hejnicki II and Lillian (Filipkowski) Hejnicki, she became one of five siblings. 

  Eileen is survived by her daughters, Jeneen Rybak, Michelle Meehan and son-in-law Patrick Meehan. Grandchildren: Sean Kropaczewski, ShyAne Knisley, Sierra Knisley (Peters), Maylon Rybak, Lillian Rybak and Tristin Taylor. Great-grandchildren: Xavier Moore, Octavian Lambert, Gwendolyn Sowards, Ariah Peters and Lukas Wallin. As well as her brother James (Jim) Hejnicki and generations of loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by  her brother Robert Hejnicki, her sister Gloria Jean Meadows and her brother Frank Hejnicki lll. She is loved deeply and will be missed by many. 

  Eileen attended Rogers High School and experienced many career interests over her lifetime. Always a “people person” she loved interaction, connection and the joy of helping others in her work. She was very artistic, creative, inspiring, loving and compassionate. She welcomed everything into her heart and viewed it all with optimistic eyes, thoughts and understanding. Eileen held, seen and portrayed beauty in so many ways and tried always to share that beauty with everyone. Her sense of humor, amazing voice and sparkling eyes will forever shine in our hearts.   

 There will be a celebration to honor her life and spirit on Saturday September 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. 2715 Elmwood Dr. Sylvania, Ohio, 43560. All those that loved or knew Eileen are welcome to attend, to share stories, memories and pay their respects. This will be an outdoor celebration in a space she loved, filled with family, friends, food, music and the beauty of nature.  All the things she loved most in life. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Castillo Funeral Home.
