Janell Evearitt Obituary

Janell Lynn Evearitt passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 23, 2023 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Toledo at the age of 60.  She was born on April 27, 1963 in Southern Ohio to Lloyd (Keck) and Linda Mullin (Adams).  She attended Waite High School in the late 1970”s and later went on to receive her GED.  Janell married Donald Evearitt on February 7, 2003, and together they had a beautiful daughter.  Don and Janell spent many years together laughing and joking throughout most of it.

What Janell loved most in life was spending time with her husband and her three children.  She braved tons of baseball games and wrestling meets with her son, Patrick.  She loved getting dressed up and going out dancing with her oldest daughter, Monica.  She couldn’t get enough gossiping, online shopping, and going out to eat with her youngest daughter, Jalyn.  Janell endured countless arguments and tantrums with all three of them yet loved them all each and every day unconditionally.  She was a one of a kind wife and mother and will be deeply missed.

When her parents were alive it was almost a weekly thing for them to get together to play poker or euchre and enjoy each other’s company.  She also liked playing “Yahtzee”, mostly when she could talk one of the kids into playing.

Janell loved animals of all kinds, especially her 3 cats, Allie, Stormy Ann, and Punkin, and her grand dogs.  Her 3 children were always bringing home strays and Janell always let them stay.

Janell enjoyed being outdoors whether it was basking in the sun or sitting around a campfire.  She also loved music and dancing.

Janell could recite the whole intro of the J. Geils “Musta Got Lost” without hesitation and it would put a smile on everyone’s’ face! She also enjoyed reading and was a fantastic cook.

Janell never met a stranger.  Everywhere she went she would talk to the person next to her, behind her and in front of her.  She loved talking and being around people.  She could talk for hours on the phone and those phone calls will be dearly missed.

Janell was preceded in death by both parents and stepdad, Gerald L. Davis.  Left to carry on Janell’s memory is her husband; Donald Evearitt, daughters; Monica Finley (Matt Bitz) and Jalyn Evearitt, son; Patrick Finley and brother; Barry Mullin.  She is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law.  She will also be remembered by many friends and her fur babies.
