Jennifer Lyn (Beck) Chuhy

Jennifer Lyn Chuhy passed away unexpectedly Monday August 24th in her home at the age of 46. She was born December 7, 1973 in Toledo to Denver & Sharon (Hart) Beck and graduated from Bedford High School in 1992. After high school, Jen went on and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toledo. She was an Environmental Specialist for Chrysler for the past 10 yrs.

On December 14, 2010, she married the love of her life Andrew Chuhy.

Jen liked to get out and play golf with her family and would always support her kids playing sports from baseball and softball to hockey. She really enjoyed cooking and grilling and was known for her spaghetti sauce. Jen had a great vision for her home and would redecorate and landscape to make it her own.

One of her favorite pastimes was watching her shows from crime stories on the ID Channel to Friends, also movies horrors and comedies being her favorite.

She loved to take family trips to St. Pete Beach, FL and Torch Lake, MI

Most of all, Jen loved being with her family having the kids over for dinner was special to her even if she would be in the garage having a cocktail.

Jen is preceded in death by her grandparents Shelia & Hubert Hart, Mary Beck and Denver Beck, Sr.; brother Bryan Beck; aunts Cheryl Benson and Arlene (Phil) Toyne. She is survived by her husband Andrew Chuhy; children Darren Common, Ashley Common, Brianna Common, Brendan Chuhy and Kate Chuhy; parents Denver and Sharon Beck, Jr.; siblings Denver Beck, III and Beth (Adam) Weyenberg; aunt Kate (Dan) Connelly; In-laws Wayne & Rosalie Chuhy; brother-in-law Nick Chuhy; nieces and nephews Abby, Makena, Alex, Max & Macy; and her four legged family Ogie, Reggie, Bear, Ella and Smore.

Her Family will receive friends for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 40 in building at a time, guest please limit your time so that others may have a chance to pay their respects and social distancing will be observed inside facilities) at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Sunday after 4 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6 PM.
