Jennifer Anne Cooper “Jenny” passed away on January 13, 2026 in Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center with her daughter Brittany by her side at the age of 52. Jenny was born October 27, 1973 in Toledo, to Joyce and Larry Cooper Sr.
Growing up in Point Place, Jenny cherished time spent with her family, especially camping trips and boating adventures that created lifelong memories. She had a deep love for music of all kinds and especially enjoyed spending time in her parents’ basement, listening to music, laughing, and playing pool. Jenny also loved the sun never missing a chance to sunbathe.
Jennifer was a devoted Detroit Lions fan and loved watching true-crime television and thriller movies. Above all, she loved her family deeply and will be remembered for her warmth, her heart, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jennifer is survived by her daughters, Brittany Cooper and Madison Wielosinski; her beloved grandsons, Liam and Nolan; and her older brother, Larry Cooper. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce and Larry Cooper Sr.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to St. Vincent Hospital for the compassionate care provided to Jennifer in the days leading up to her passing, as well as to Castillo Funeral Home for their guidance and support during this difficult time.
Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 12 Noon followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4 PM.
