Jerry Wayne McDonald

Jerry Wayne McDonald passed away unexpectedly in his home on April 26, 2025 at the age of 57. He was born June 1, 1967 in Corbin, KY to Joe & Joanne (Ellison) McDonald.

Jerry had various jobs over the years before health disabilities prevented him from working.

In his young years, he loved sports playing basketball, football and throwing horseshoes and later years he followed college football especially University of Michigan football.

Jerry is survived by his daughters Brittany and Jerralynn; mother Joanne McDonald; brothers Glen (Christy) McDonald and Jimmy McDonald; special Barbara Walls and step daughter Mary Doherty and was “Poppa” to her kids.

His family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 3 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6 PM.
