Jodee Alexa Figueroa passed away unexpectedly Wednesday August 24th at the age of 46. She currently worked at ROKI in Findlay, OH.
Jodee was an advocate for Rescue and Restore Coalition of Northwest Ohio. JoDee Figueroa is a survivor of human trafficking. She was in the “life” for over 12 years. JoDee has started a Human Trafficking Coalition in Hancock County and has been sharing her story through trainings, presentations, and individual support to inspire others and provide hope for leaving the lifestyle.
If you were blessed enough to call Jodee a friend you would of known she was comical and could laugh about anything. Jodee had the biggest smile on her face every time she walked into a room. She loved hard, her heart was made of gold and was the biggest part if her.
Jodee was preceded in death with by her father Ishmael Figueroa and is survived by her son Tre'von ( Unique Gonzalez) Figueroa; daughter Autumn Santo; grandson Keaton Figueroa; mother Denise Sutton; as well as numerous family and friends.
Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Tuesday after 3 PM followed by A Celebration of Life Prayer Service at 7 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to the family via this website to help offset expenses.
