John Dzienny, 66, of Coldwater, Michigan (formally of Samaria, Michigan), passed away on March 2, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.
John was born on March 11, 1954 to Robert and Linda Dzienny in Toledo, Ohio. After graduating from Bedford High School in 1972, he followed in his father’s footsteps and entered the construction trades.
In 1977, he married Jane Watson, going on to have three wonderful children, Janelle, Jennifer, and John. Later divorcing in 2000, they remained friends.
John was an avid outdoorsman who spent much of his time hunting and fishing. He passed down his love and knowledge of the outdoors to his children.
John was a loving and caring father, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was unendingly proud of his children Janelle (Greg), Jennifer (Shawn), John and grandchildren Megan, Ella, Brayden, Marissa, and Emmy. He always put his family before himself.
John was predeceased in death by his mother, Linda Dzienny; sister Pamela Hamilton, and brother, Quinn Dzienny. He is survived by his father, Robert Dzienny; sister Shawna (Brian) Nichols, children, grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his dog Buck.
Friends and family may gather for a limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 guests in the funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities; please limit visiting to 10 min. or less so others may come in to pay their respects) on Saturday, March 13, 2021 after 1 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM at Castillo Funeral Home, Toledo 1757 Tremainsville Rd..
