John "Bob" Robert Alba

John ”Bob” Robert Alba, passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 68. He was born in Fremont, Ohio to John and Felicitas (Ramirez) on April 8, 1956.  Bob received his BA degree and was a graphic designer for Sun Chemical prior to his retirement.

Bob loved to travel and was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.

Surviving is his great nephew, Oscar (Jamie) Alba, Jr.; siblings, Richard (Rebecca Ramon) Alba, Mary (Rene) Alba Villarreal, and Yolanda (Jason) Alba Trombley; niece, Sara Casillas; cousin, Olga (Michael) Fitch; and sister in law, Lois Gilbert.

He was preceded in death by his parents; life partner, Vera; brother, Abraham Alba and dog, Maggie.

Visitation will be held at the Castillo Funeral Home, 1757 Tremainsville, Rd., on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 3-5 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 5 p.m.
