Jordan S. Payne, age 32, of Toledo, Ohio sadly lost his battle with cancer Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones. Jordan was born in Kansas City, Kansas on June 18, 1988 to Dorothy Bush. Jordan was goofy, always had a smile on his face and jokes on his lips. He was the life of the party, he loved listening to music (his headphones rarely left his ears!) When he wasn’t working he was with his children or playing Xbox. Jordan enjoyed riding around in his Impala with his music up. Jordan loved his life, even when diagnosed with genetic liver disease and liver cancer, he was so hopeful & fought so hard!! Samantha his amazing wife & Kelsey his best friend/children’s mother have not left his side til his last breath through this very tough battle. Jordan valued his time spent with family & friends. His 5 children are his pride & Joy. He will live on through them. #PayneGang!!!!!
Jordan is survived by his wife/soul mate Samantha Payne; his best friend/partner in crime, Kelsey Braatz; his children; Jordyn (Sophia) Payne, Jordan S. Payne,Jr., Hazel Payne, Zaryah Baumgartner, Makenna Payne; The father that raised him, Richard Black Sr.; sisters Kizzie Hill and Qualchelle Hill; brothers Shawn Payne, Terry Bush, John Black,; Jordan had too many best friends to name, along with MANY Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & loving family and friends! Jordan is preceded in death by his grandmother Ruthie Mae Bush; his mother Dorothy Ann Bush, his sister Tammy Bush and dear friend Noah Davis.
A huge thank you to Jordan’s brothers John & Terry for helping when needed, and also his Sisters Kizzie & Qualchelle who came all the way from Kansas just to help us in Jordan’s final weeks. He was so blessed to have all of us & to have so much love before he left this world.

Friends and family may gather for a limited visitation (masks must be worn, 30 guests in the funeral home at a time, and social distancing will be observed inside facilities; please limit visiting to 10 min. or less so others may come in to pay their respects) Sunday after 3 PM followed by a Celebration Of Life Service at 7 PM. Memoeirla tributes may be to his family via this website to offset expenses and support his family.
