Katherine "Kat" Lucas

Katherine “Kat” Lucas was born on October 28, 1944 in Alabama to Ruby Truss and Robert Young.  Katherine was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.  In her free time she loved shopping, watching B.E.T. and Lifetime movies, cooking and hanging with friends and family.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents and one of her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are sons: Kieth, Shawn (Rohema), Robert "Action" (Mashika) Jeffrey, Dashawn and special cousin Pricilla, brother; Robert (Rosemary) Young and nieces; nephews, great grandchildren, grandchildren and relatives.

Her family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Friday after 11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1 PM.  Memorial tributes may be made to her family via this website to help offset expenses.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Astor Assisted living and the caring staff of Hospice at Flower Hospital and Orchard Villa.
