Keith Bernard Floto

Keith Bernard Floto passed away September 21, 2022 in Good Shepherd Hospice Auburndale, FL surrounded by his loving family at the age of 67.

Keith was born November 23, 1954 in Columbus Ohio to Bernard and Bette Floto and moved with his parents to Toledo, Ohio graduating from Toledo Whitmer High School in 1972.   He attended Ohio Dominican University and later moved to Central Florida to work in the family business. 

He met the love of his life, Sheri Pierce in Melbourne, FL and they were married in 1978.Together they had three children Shannon, Lindsay and Jacob.  

Keith was a restaurateur for many years and later embraced his love for golf, becoming a Golf professional for the final 14 years of his life.  

Keith was a mentor to many people throughout his life sharing his strong faith in Jesus Christ with all who came across his path.  He freely offered wisdom, prayer, share scripture, a warm hug, a kind word, never afraid of tough love but always speaking truth and pointing the way.  We are certain Keith heard “well done thou good and faithful servant, enter in to the kingdom of heaven”.  

Keith was a fervent Ohio State Fan, raising his Florida born children to love the game as much as he did. 

Keith was preceded in death by his parents Bernard A. & Bette and brothers P. Bruce and Gary Floto. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Sheri Floto; daughters Shannon, (Jamison Cranfield), Lindsay Floto Delgado, and son Jacob (Molly) Floto and grandchildren Nicholas, Dakota, Santino, Isabela, Lily, Gabriel, Selah, Mila, and Audrey.  He leaves behind a legacy of love. 

Family and friends will gather at TBA Church 1815 E CR 540A, Lakeland, FL 33813 to Celebrate A Life Well Lived for Keith Floto on Sunday October 16, 2022 at 3 PM. Private scattering of ashes will take place in Ohio at a later date. Memorial tributes may be made to his family via this website to help offset expenses.
