Kim Michelle Jett was born on November 19, 1960 to Cleveland and Betty Jean Jett in Memphis Tennessee. Kim closed her eyes for the final time peacefully at home on April 1, 2023. "Kim Jett" as she was affectionately called by many attended Toledo Public Schools: Fulton Elementary and Scott High School (Once a Bulldog Always a Bulldog). She went on to attend Stautzenberger College. She was a woman who wore many hats and did it very well. She worked at the Toledo Sports Arena, she was a bar tender who could remember each person's face and how they preferred their specific drink made. Her true passion was her lawn business. She had the prescription to make your grass the greenest on the block; she was often referred to as the "Lawn Doctor" she outshined Black Diamond. Kim's best kept secret was, for four great years she was "Santa of Kolor", going to children's homes on Christmas Eve listening to all the boys and girls give Santa their Christmas wishes. She was very proud of this reminiscing how this experience made both her and the children smile.
Kim Jett LOVED people and they LOVED her; she never met a stranger. If Kim liked you, you knew it and if she didn't you would know that as well.
Kim being the oldest and the only girl, she nurtured, loved, protected, molded, and cared for her three brothers'. She loved to cook each of them their favorite dish; just to name a few, bean soup, banana pudding, and cheesecake.
Kim Jett was the proud mother of four children who will cherish her memory and keep her spirit alive. Tavares (Nygia) of Winter Park, FL, Shalonda, Latina, and Calvin Jett all of Toledo, Ohio. She was the grandmother "Boosha" of 10; Deshawn, Tavares, Triston, Tyle, Tanryra, Marcus, Destiny, Devine, Ronald, and Cyrus.
