Lawrence Wayne Dunbar

Lawrence Wayne Dunbar of Toledo entered Heaven on January 18, 2022 at the age of 75. He was born February 2, 1946 in West Virginia to the late Hurley and Merlie (Wiseman) Dunbar. Wayne moved to Toledo when he was 17 yrs Old. He was loving father, husband and papaw. He loved camping, fishing and traveling. Most of all, he loved spending time with family especially his gradkids and great grandkids.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Linda Dunbar, daughters Belinda and Lucinda Dunbar; brothers Roy, Lee and Larry Dunbar; and sisters Jeanie, Nannie and Julie.

He is survived by his loving wife Gloria Dunbar; children Melinda (Keith) Rahm, Wendy (Steve) Carroll and Lawrence “Tink” Dunbar; stepchildren BooBoo “Peter” McGarey, Elizabeth (Tee Jay) McGarey Sanchez, James (Michelle) McGarey, Jeff (Pam) McGarey, Nicole (Roberto) Jechura. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Amber Lambert. Keith Rahm, Sarah Broadway, Jennifer Rahm, Jonathon Dunbar, Sabrina Whittaker, Lawrence Dunbar III, Shayla Dunbar, Jeffrey Jechura, Dacey McGarey, Taylor Crow, Dr. Morgan Sanchez, Gabriel Ramirez, Amy Friend, Jordan Dunbar, Brittany, Stephanie, Asia and High Roller Carroll; and sisters Janice, Kathy and Joan. Wayne also leaves behind 34 great grandkids.

Family will receive friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 2 PM followed by funeral services at 5 PM.
