Linda Lee (Lewandowski) Curry

On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, Linda (Linda Lu) Curry, age 76, passed away surrounded by her family and lifelong friends.  Linda was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 6th, 1948, to Carl and Delores (Gustin) Lewandowski.  Linda graduated from the original Sylvania High School and was a proud Jeep retiree having worked there for over 25 years.  Linda loved sitting on her porch watching all the birds visit her feeders and tending to all her beautiful flowers.  Linda loved being by the water and was a member of Harbor View Yacht Club for many years as well as a “Snowbird,” and would go to Bonita Springs, Florida for the winter.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband William “Bill” Curry and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Michelle (John) Toso; siblings Robert “Butch” Lewandowski, Sue Fenton, Kathleen “Kate” Lewandowski, and Michael Lewandowski; children-in-law Russ (Debbie) Curry and Jamie (Dan) Avers; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many lifelong friends and coworkers. 

There will be no services held. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the dedicated and compassionate staff of Mercy St. Vincent Emergency and Critical Care units and Toledo Fire & Rescue department.
