Mark Robert Grimes

Mark Robert Grimes passed away at Toledo Hospital on February 7, 2025 at the age of 31. His final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation. He was born September 2, 1993 in Toledo to Mark T. & Madeleine K. (Hasting) Grimes. Mark was athletic participating in many sports before going on to high school.

He was a 2011 graduate of Sylvania Northview High School. While in high school his math teacher Mrs. Karen Turley introduced him to the love of his life, her daughter Rebecca Turley. Mark was a paralegal for Turley, Peppel & Christen Trial Lawyers and more recently was working at Kingston Care Center in Sylvania.

He enjoyed traveling with his family to Myrtle & Virginia Beaches and especially enjoyed going to Gulf Shores, Alabama. Mark loved to go fishing, was a firearms enthusiast and was a fan of the Detroit Tigers and University of Michigan Football. He loved country music and playing the guitar, his mother was his biggest fan and loved listening to him play.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother Madeleine Grimes and is survived by his loving wife Rebecca; daughter Carly; son Lincoln; father Mark T. Grimes; sister Kayla; niece Madison and nephew Andrew.
